STI Group is a Total Solutions Provider for the midstream marketplace, focusing on compressor/pump station construction, gas processing plant construction, and small gathering pipeline installation. We have the ability and are capable of performing high integrity coded work as it pertains to the oil & gas industry. We are a general contracting company that offers the midstream community throughout Texas and the United States a variety of services focusing on station and facility construction and maintenance. We can take projects from design to start-up completion and commissioning.
We are seeking a Business Development/Account Manager to expand our business throughout Texas, focusing on the Houston and West/South Texas regions. This position will be based and will office out of Beaumont, TX.

The Business Development / Account Manager will be responsible for networking and building a larger client base within the midstream market focusing on operators and EPC companies.
They will Identify, develop, and secure leads on upcoming midstream and upstream projects and communicate leads to appropriate departments within the company.
Assists in the development of annual sales goals and forecasts.
Serve as a liaison between the operating, engineering, and rig manufacturing companies and the STI Group.
Work with estimating department on packaging project proposals and presenting them to prospective clients.
Understand and interface with others in the organization to submit pre-qualification packages, bids, and client requests for information.
Coordinate on a weekly basis all work activities with our Marketing Department to design and implement sales and marketing strategies for industry wide initiatives for corporate business development.
Introduce and present the STI Group to prospective clients in small and large settings such as “lunch and learns” and executive presentations.
Monitor and assist in the growth, protection, and regulation of the STI Group brand.
Attend appropriate seminars, conferences, and meetings to remain current on industry trends and lead generation.
Develop an innovative comprehensive system for managing client relationship data, and assist in the implementation of that system.

Required / Preferred:
Bachelor Degree preferred in Business, Marketing, Communications, Engineering or applicable degree plan
5-10 years of experience and working knowledge of the oil & gas industry
Focused mainly on upstream and midstream
5-10 years of sales and marketing experience in the upstream and midstream markets
Ability to lead a team to meet project target deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM software, and most typical data management tools
Excellent written, oral and presentation communication skills
Sound time management, planning and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and within team environment
Ability to support and work across organizational boundaries to leverage resources and resolve conflicts
Track record of continuous professional development
Sales Planning and Territory Management experience or skills
Ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments
Self-Motivated, great initiative and high energy level individual
Travel Flexibility
Ability to maintain confidentiality
