MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR – THE POINTE AT WIMBLEDON

Our Maintenance Supervisors are responsible for the on-going routine maintenance of the property and grounds, overall cleanliness and curb appeal and service to the residents of the community. He/She ensures that the preventive maintenance program minimized the need for repairs and preserves the physical property for maximum life. He/She is also responsible for advising the On-Site Manager of any significant problem areas, abnormal maintenance problems or service requests that cannot be completed within the 24-hour time frame established by SPI policy.
The Pointe at Wimbledon, a 280 unit community in the heart of Greenville, seeks a Maintenance Supervisor who will have direct supervisory responsibility for four maintenance associates. Reporting directly to the On-Site Manager, the Maintenance Supervisor will lead the team in achieving satisfactory results for all interior and exterior maintenance of the units, unit turns, vendor relations, customer service, pool maintenance and will ensure associates are adequately trained in HVAC, appliance repair, plumbing and all OSHA and safety standards.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:
Proven hands on experience in residential apartment maintenance
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Ability to work in tandem with On-Site Manager to achieve property goals
Ability to train, supervise and motivate personnel
HVAC/CFC universal required
CAMT a plus
Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs
Physical ability and willingness to climb and work from ladder and on flat roofs as necessary
Understanding and compliance of OSHA, Worker’s Comp and standard safety requirements essential
Must have valid drivers license and vehicle insurance that must be maintained
Must have reliable work truck for daily use
Available for after hour and weekend emergency on-call rotation
