Medical Sales Associate, Mobile, AL - September 10, 2013
A typical day at work consists of selling medical equipment, such as mobility devices (walkers, wheelchairs, etc.), power lift seats, orthotics, ostomy supplies, and diabetes supplies. Either orders for the product(s) are faxed into the store from a physician's office or a patient can bring a doctor's prescription to be filled. We verify the patient's insurance and fill out the required documents depending if the insurance will accept the request for the product(s). Communication is important between the manager, sales associates, and the warehouse to run a successful business.
