About SAC AND FOX NATION
The Sac and Fox Nation's Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations serves the Sac and Fox, Kickapoo, Iowa, Citizen Potawatomi, and Absentee Shawnee Historical tribal jurisdictions in Oklahoma. Approximately fifty-six (56) Federally Recognized Tribes are served within our jurisdiction.
The main warehouse has a store where the participants do – more... their own shopping and then checked out using a scanning system, the same as a regular grocery store. Plans are in the process to build a Food Program store in Shawnee. Until then, we have a tailgate site at the Absentee Shawnee Tribal Square in Tecumseh. Participants at the tailgate site are issued food from the back of our semi-trailer/tractor eight (8) days a month. The refrigerated trailer allows us to take not only canned foods, flour, cereals, etc., but also the fresh produce and frozen foods. – less – More from ZoomInfo »
