Was a fun place to work.
Pros: during busy season i got alot of overtime and sn hour long lunch.
Cons: not being trained in the other departments and commission was hard to reach.
The job mainly consisted of answering caller's questions about car insurance, going over their coverages, giving quotes, selling policies, overcoming rejections, and making reminder calls.
I learned how an insurance company works, the importance of maintaining an active policy, what all the coverages meant, and I learned how to have fun with my job.
Supervisors – more... and the Manager were awesome. Provided us with the help we sometimes needed. They were friendly and made it a fun place to work.
I got along great with my co-workers. We were all very competative with eachother bit everyone played nicely., and we would have potlucks and were just nice to one another.
The hardest thing about the job was the fact i wasn't trained for any department except sales , so if I had a question about something other than sales I couldn't answer it, and I dont think that was fair to the customers. The most enjoyable thing was the sales recognition, we won money, prizes, and paid days off for perfect attendance and selling the most policies. – less
