Virtually new company in America with new technology.
Machine Operator (Current Employee), Jacksonville, FL – February 4, 2014
Pros: knowledge gained
Cons: inexperience within most levels, begining with management
A typical day consist of twelve hours using a coating machine. I am responsible for minor maintenance of the machine and its many parts. The hardest part of the job is the new technology and the few people who can troubleshoot if there are any problems. The best part is that this is a green company and they are a strong push towards alternative energy.
I love the fast pace jobs and the wonderful bonuses .. they showed their appreciation to their workers
Assembler/Machine Operator (Former Employee), Valdese, NC – October 24, 2013
Pros: the pay was great and the hours
Cons: losing your pay to go work in another department was really a down side to the company
I worked there for eight years in two separate departments. I loved the fast pace of the work we did there and the bonuses we got for a job well done. Working overtime there was plentiful and appreciated. The people that worked there were friendly and worked as a team to get the job accomplished. The hardest part about the job was when work slowed down – more... and I lost my position in the Dry Room. I took a huge cut in pay but I made the most of it. Those in management were okay. They let us figure out how to fix things that were wrong mainly. I learned that you don't have to be friends with everyone you work with but you do have to show them the respect you would any stranger off the street. Maturity is a must. – less
Instructions for the day in team meetings run machinery to the best of my ability and complete paper work at end of the day I learned many work skills Management had big shoes to fill Hard working coworkers The hardest part of the job was learning the different steps to make a battery and the enjoyable part was meeting new people.
IT'S A GOOD WORKPLACE AND FUN ENVIRONMENT, WITH PRODUCTIVE EXPERIENCES
Receiving Clerk (Former Employee), Valdosta, GA – April 26, 2012
Pros: holiday lunch gathering
I LEARNED TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL THAT I'M INVOLVED IN AND TO BE ATTENTATIVE TO ALL DETAILS THAT MAKES YOUR JOB WELL DONE IN HARD DECISION MAKING PROCESSES. A TYPICAL DAY AT WORK WOULD HAVE BEEN RECEIVING,AND DELIVERING PRODUCTION SUPPLIES AND PARTS TO ALL DEPARTMENTS, ALONG WITH DOING DAILY INVENTORY SPREADSHEETS, DELIVERIES SHEETS TO THE SUPERVISOR.MANAGEMENT – more... WAS VERY SUPPORTIVE AND CORDIAL TO ALL SITUATIONS. MY CO-WORKERS WAS VERY HARDWORKING AND DEPENDABLE, PROFESSIONAL WHEN IT CAME TO STAFF SUPPORT; AND ALWAYS WILLING TO GO THE EXTRA MILE TO GET THE JOB DONE. THE HARDEST PART OF THE JOB WAS NOT BEING ABLE TO GET MORE OVERTIME AS NEEDED. THE MOST ENJOYABLE PART OF THE JOB WAS BEING VERY PROFESSIONAL AND COURTEOUS TO ALL THAT MADE UP THE COMPANY AS WELL AS IT SUPPLIERS WAS MY DAILY TASK OF TREATING EVERYONE FAIR. – less
