This was a good job, but offered no room for advancement within the company.
Front desk receptionist/ Office Assistant, Mesa, AZ - July 14, 2015
I really enjoyed working for Sage Counseling and was a very dedicated employee, but my hard work was very often overlooked and taken advantage. I was always promised higher wages and promotions and these actions were never met, I always felt that my hard work was in vain and I was going nowhere in this company. But I was still very driven to prove myself, and never let this discouragement affect my work. I loved helping every client on the phone and in person, and always remained a team player. I was in charge of answering phones and scheduling clients, greeting clients (checking in appointments, taking payments) keeping the waiting room tidy, keeping office supplies stocked, checking and distributing mail, stamping all outgoing mail, updating and entering all referral contact information into the database system (and making sure all the information was correct and updated correctly) as well as any additional tasks assigned by the Office Manager and helping coworkers if I had any spare time. I kept busy every minute of the day and often stayed late to ensure that everything was completed.
