Working that SBMC was a great experience. I appreciated the time that I spent with the system and wouldn't mind working there again in the future. However, because of the lack in patient interaction, I missed the retail setting.

Great Place to work. Family Oriented environment....Great Teamwork. Most of all Managers and/or Supervisors step in to help out when needed. The Director/Manager/Supervisors at SBHS have the greatest communication skills.

* Typical day is registering patients for outpatient testing,surgery, direct admission & pre-op testing. Obtain pre- auth,collecting co-pay and or deposit.
* I work with some of the greatest people, they are so supportive and encouraging. They can take a stressful moment and turn it into a laughable situation.

It was very friendly environment to work in and everyone were willing to help when needed.

Responsibilities include hospitality, registration, and admitting to support the mission and vision of the hospital, also to provide supportive environment for the patient, nursing and medical staff to insure the optimal delivery of care.

Managed a Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet for Sickle Cell Anemia patients, and basically put them into the system for the hospital. I technically worked alone on this specific job, but the atmosphere was pleasant and friendly.

I have worked here for several years and for several years I have seen HR virtually avoid and/or hide jobs for qualified candidates. There is also a great deal of nepotism that makes the process unfair. There are no challenges unless you are a executive and even then I have heard them cry an complain. Excellent place to be employed. management is great. Loved my coworkers and the job wasn't hard at all. Would like to be reemployed with my new certifications.

Answer the phones, run charts to the floors, discharge patients, go over the menu with patients.

Overal I really enjoyed working with my co-workers and the doctors it really put my life in prospective, and being with the patients daily was a joy no matter what their sickness was I just enjoy helping people this is my passion, helping someone.

Very Serious department. Patients health and comfort are number one factor. The Theropist there are friendly and gentle towards their patients. A very clean facility. The Staff taught me a lot.
