The Communications Coordinator position is responsible for development of Sajan’s online marketing programs. The individual must be an exceptional writer with previous experience creating and editing marketing content for B2B audiences. This role will be responsible for creating compelling content to position Sajan as an industry leader and build brand awareness in the language translation marketplace through social media outlets and our corporate website.
This position is part of the Marketing team and is located onsite in River Falls, Wisconsin. We are just steps away from the Twin Cities. This role is tasked with the following core responsibilities:
Develop and execute social media strategies
Build strategy around the use of Sajan’s corporate blog, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, Google+ and other social media vehicles.
Collaborate with Communications Specialist to create synergies and messaging harmony between social media and PR programs.
Create monthly editorial calendar of ongoing topics to cover.
Research and write two Sajan Blog posts per week on deadline – content to include written articles, videos and podcasts.
Research and incorporate SEO tactics in all social media initiatives.
Build and execute marketing plan to promote Sajan social media channels to grow base of followers and subscribers.
Actively participate on behalf of Sajan in relevant social media conversations hosted by other organizations.
Syndicate blog content weekly on other websites.
Manage Sajan’s social media ambassador program which involves Sajan employees participating in social media outlets on behalf of Sajan.
Monitor competitor social media outlets for competitive insight.
Prepare logistics, monitor performance and report on metrics for social media programs.
Manage corporate website and online programs
Develop and execute search engine optimization strategies to improve website rankings in major search engines, such as Google, Yahoo! and Bing.
Create and post new content to site, including videos, news and new/updated copy.
Execute online advertising programs.
Manage website agency relationships.
Prepare logistics, monitor performance and report on metrics for online marketing programs.
In addition to the primary responsibilities listed above, this position may also assist the marketing team with the following initiatives from time to time:
Develop and build email marketing campaigns to be leveraged by the sales team.
Create/write content for marketing library, including case studies, articles and whitepapers.
Assist in creative concepting, reviewing, copy editing and proofing for marketing initiatives.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
Candidate must have bachelor’s degree or higher in marketing, public relations, journalism or communications field.
Exceptional writing skills will be required for this position with a minimum of two to five years of solid marketing, copywriting and editing experience in B2B space.
Keen ability to successfully spin the same topic into multiple creative stories.
Strong attention to detail with solid grammar and proofreading skills required.
Proficiency in social media and website platforms and measurement tools required for position.
Must be able to manage multiple tasks at one time.
