Registered Nurse, Salina, KS - June 9, 2015
As a registered nurse at SRHC, I have learned time management, developed my technical skills as a nurse as well as my skills of prioritization, and have had the opportunity to touch hundreds of lives. I have been lucky enough to be a part of live-saving procedures and have held the hands of the dying. I have eased people's pain and alleviated their anxieties. People have confided in me and I have had the honor of comforting them in times of sorrow. I have enjoyed watching critically ill patients get well again and have taken pride in the fact that I was a part of that. My co-workers have been supportive and helpful and our unit is well known in the hospital for our teamwork and camaraderie. Our managers are dedicated, positive individuals that do their best to ensure we have a productive, efficient, pleasant workplace.
