Teacher, Salinas, CA - December 4, 2013
A typical day enabled me to engage students, in a meaningful way, to appreciate the study of English. I learned that I am better suited to work with students who are either in primary or tertiary education. I found minimally motivated high school students to be disruptive and disrespectful. The management was "hands off" with little inclination to support teachers or discipline students. My co-workers were varied and mostly very dedicated and hard working. The hardest part of the job was dealing with the poor behavior of students and the concomitant lack of support from administrarion. The most enjoyable part of the job was working with students who were eager to learn.
