Cons: pay a little lower than other companies in same market
Supportive and understanding management. They encourage employees constantly through awards, gifts, and recognition. They provide really helpful training and ensure that representatives are ready to interact with customers.

career company with great employee recognition and strong growth.
Client Services Representative (Former Employee), Newton, MANovember 12, 2013
Pros: great environment, interesting industry, wonderful people, flex time.
Cons: healthcare, contract work only
* a typical day was spent completing fluctuating work loads, while preparing for future day work flow, all the while looking toward higher process efficiency.

* A reinforced learning of the strong influential effects of a positive reinforcement management style and the encouraging role it plays in cultivating a positive work environment, work flow – more... efficiency and the achievement of company goals.

* My co-workers were helpful and encouraging team members.

* The overall experience of working for this company was the most enjoyable part of this job. – less

Productive and entertaining co-workers
Collector 1 (Current Employee), Horseheads, NYOctober 13, 2013
Pros: goofy games to encourage morale
Cons: constant changes in the rules
A typical day at work consists of being on the phone, making of 100 calls a day. I rehabilitate student loans for people that are in default. I document all the information through CRS and Noble systems. I learn how to empathize with people and how to take into consideration that events happen in peoples lives that they can't control. I am the person – more... they can talk to, to get their lives back on track and get them out of default. My co-workers are funny and intelligent and glad to share tidbits of information making my day easier. They management says expect change... the hardest part of my job is trying to explain to someone how talking to the mean "debt collector lady" can be a good thing. The most enjoyable part of my job is hearing the thank you and the relief in their voices, that I helped to start the process of getting them out of default and back into good standing. – less

Good experience with largest student loan servicer
Business Analyst (Former Employee), Fishers, INMarch 26, 2012
Pros: can take on a lot of responsibilities
Cons: stressful, understaffed
Prior to federal regulations impacting the student loan industry, this was a great place to work. As result, downsizing and falling in corporate culture and values have occurred. Was a great career starter, but currently is probably not the ideal place to work as employees constantly being shifted around and taking on responsibilities that didn't hire – more... in for as result of company's need to save money and try to operate efficiently. – less
