cosmetologist (Former Employee), MA – July 20, 2014
Pros: working with elderly!!
Cons: don't make tips!!
The company requires way to much for 50% commission. They continuously add more work to schedule without compensation. They only find fault never giving any praise. The manager lied about the amount of revenue the salon brought in. I was making 400.00 less monthly than expected per the managers numbers .The only thing that is worth working there is helping the elderly community. I feel bad for the elderly having this type of company running the salon. I was the 4th cosmetologist to work there in 6 months. The residents don't deserve to go through that. They need consistancy!!!!!
District manager (Former Employee), East Coast – January 16, 2014
Pros: servicing elders
Cons: compensation, ethics
This company has uder-handed Management practices, Pays below minimum requirements and expects way too much for nothing! Upper Management lies to get you on board and then conspires to prevent any growth. The only good thing about working here is servicing deserving elders. Do NOT manage for this company. They will make you put thousands of miles on YOUR vehicle and give you $30/month for it!!! As for Employees, comission always is 50/50. You will have to break "both legs" to get any consideration for commission growth.
