Zero chance for advancement. If you get good evaluations you'll get good raises, in most places. Not the case here. Even if you do significantly better than coworkers you'll eventually end up with same pay. The company does market evaluations and cost of living evaluations every so often, at which time they'll adjust (raise) employees wages. It benefits most, but as I stated before, if you were already doing well due to your good performance, you get nothing. So now all your hard work was for nothing because the people with lousy evaluations and no/small raises are making as much as the hard workers!
You are a sales person no matter which department you work in; maybe not if you're in maintenance! You are required to upgrade memberships, sell memberships, constantly call patients in order to get more fills, or call patients whose prescriptions are ready in order to get more sales! They base how many hourly employees hours are allowed each day based on how many sales you had the previous year!
On the positive side: good hours, closed Sundays, closed several holidays (you'll have to use PTO to get paid), fair wages (even better if you're a slacker and just wait for adjustments)!
