Samsung Experience Consultant (Former Employee), Madison, WI – May 11, 2015
Pros: The latest and greatest technology, Learning sales.
Cons: Manipulation from Market Managers and Leads. Working weekends and holidays.
Learning different sales tactics was a great eye opener to the world of sales and the market managers were great at exploring new creative ways to effectively help us sell. Working with BestBuy staff was interesting because of the mix of seasonal and seasoned employees who worked there, Learning to get along and succeed with all different types of personalities was among the most challenging and improving those relationships among the most rewarding.
Product Planning Intern - Verizon Wireless Team (Former Employee), Bridgewater, NJ – April 27, 2015
Pros: PTO and healthcare benefits
Cons: Long commute
I had the chance to intern at Samsung during my MBA studies. The group of people I worked with at Samsung Mobile offices in NJ were great. Everyone was super helpful and cared for everybody else's wellfare. Additionally, the benefits for full-time employees were among the best in the industry.
Field Market Manager (Current Employee), Ashland, KY – January 22, 2015
Pros: flexible schedule.
Cons: low pay with high standards.
This job is constantly changing and you never know what your doing day to day. Pay is sub par for the work that is required and you are constantly being threatened with write up. Poor work atmosphere to say the least. Retail sales reps in stores make more money than this job pays.
Senior Recruiter (Former Employee), Dallas, TX – January 6, 2014
Very fast paced culture where one has to be self-reliant. Direction can change very quickly with the multiple product launches. As a recruiter I placed over 140 Professional Engineers and Developers and to see them mature and become leaders was the most rewarding part of the job.
