Great people to work with, but that's it.
Tier II Support (Former Employee) –  Richardson, TXJuly 19, 2016
Management is not very organized. There is a lot of passing work between the different tiers because the different tiers aren't 100% positive if they should do it or hand it off. Management ends up being an email referee...Roles and Responsibilities has a tendency to change often and at management's discretion.
Pros
Great people to work with.
Cons
Poor management, no room for growth, long hours, some night shifts, and weekend on-call activities.

Samsung Executive Consultant (Former Employee) –  Fargo, NDJune 22, 2015
A lot of time and money is spent in training the staff, that means you'll be knowledgeable in the products you represent and demonstrate. The tools to do you're job are given. Direction could be more clear

Looking for more opportunities
Lead Samsung Experience Consultant (Current Employee) –  Norwalk, CTJune 10, 2015
A good decent job to learn some good trouble shooting skills and be quick about making decisions, teaches you to work under pressure and always maintain a positive attitude throughout the day. although when it comes to opportunities and grown and wanting more, this is what i did not find at Samsung. I have exceeded goals and earned my respect within my district. But Samsung refuses to hire from within when an open position was available. This shows lack of opportunities and growth with the company.
Pros
Learn all about new devices before they come out
Cons
no consideration to Samsung employees if they trying to advance up the ranks, job security

Samsung Experience Consultant (Former Employee) –  Madison, WIMay 11, 2015
Learning different sales tactics was a great eye opener to the world of sales and the market managers were great at exploring new creative ways to effectively help us sell. Working with BestBuy staff was interesting because of the mix of seasonal and seasoned employees who worked there, Learning to get along and succeed with all different types of personalities was among the most challenging and improving those relationships among the most rewarding.
Pros
The latest and greatest technology, Learning sales.
Cons
Manipulation from Market Managers and Leads. Working weekends and holidays.

I had the chance to intern at Samsung during my MBA studies. The group of people I worked with at Samsung Mobile offices in NJ were great. Everyone was super helpful and cared for everybody else's wellfare. Additionally, the benefits for full-time employees were among the best in the industry.
Pros
PTO and healthcare benefits
Cons

Field Market Manager (Current Employee) –  Ashland, KYJanuary 22, 2015
This job is constantly changing and you never know what your doing day to day. Pay is sub par for the work that is required and you are constantly being threatened with write up. Poor work atmosphere to say the least. Retail sales reps in stores make more money than this job pays.
Pros
flexible schedule.
Cons
low pay with high standards.

Senior Recruiter (Former Employee) –  Dallas, TXJanuary 6, 2014
Very fast paced culture where one has to be self-reliant. Direction can change very quickly with the multiple product launches. As a recruiter I placed over 140 Professional Engineers and Developers and to see them mature and become leaders was the most rewarding part of the job.
