CAWST, the Centre for Affordable Water and Sanitation Technology, is a Canadian humanitarian not-for-profit organization providing education, training and technical consulting in water and sanitation to organizations working with the poor in developing countries. To date, CAWST has provided services in 53 countries, and has catalyzed a network of 135 organizations implementing independent water programs that have impacted 1,625,000 people with improved water. CAWST also actively engages youth and communities to get involved in the cause, encouraging grassroots actions to conserve water and raise awareness locally and globally.
Our vision is a world where people have the opportunity to succeed because their basic water and sanitation needs have been met.
Our mission is to provide technical training, consulting, and to act as a centre of expertise in water and sanitation for the poor in developing countries.
CAWST values equitable opportunities, sustainable solutions and collaborative and inclusive processes. CAWST recognizes and accepts differences in cultural, religious and political processes. – less – More from ZoomInfo »
