Calling on physicians and allied health persons. Working as a team with other sales professionals. Increasing market share of all products that I was responsible for selling. Most enjoyed the face to face time with the physicians. Most difficult part of the job was the amount of paperwork that was required on the off hours.

Great direct manager and great products, but pipeline is not strong

I love working at Aventis Biocenter and hate that they closed down unexpectedly. I learned a lot about phlebotomy and blood work at this job.

Main Responsibilities
• Responsible of oncology products
• Analyzing the market and the competitors to develop and implement of yearly activity plans while leading cross functional teams towards clearly set goals
• Creating ideas for communication under the brands (Taxotere,Eloxatin,Jevtana) of responsibility
• To monitor market situation, conduct market – more... and competitor analysis.
• Prepare monthly management reports and participate in the development of 12 month sales forecast
• Co-worked with the agencies for both national &international congresses & meetings
• Follow up budget planning, purchasing and agreements of all congresses & meetings.
• Follow up regional and central A&P budgets.
• Prepare sales analysis reports to sales force.
Skills
• Coordinating product management projects with internal and external resources to achieve results (advertising agencies, market research, product development, production planning, trade activities, sales and consultants).
• Pre-launch activities (ad board, concept satellite symposiums, TEB etc.) for Jevtana
• Organization and planning of oncology meetings such as ‘School of Oncology’ in 3 parts for KQLs, fellows and pharmacies.
• Preparation of the marketing materials of the related products; including brochures, ads, posters, flyers and web site information of product related issues.
• Having successful relationship with KOL’s
• Organize all symposiums, national & international congresses, brand launch meetings and marketing meetings. Arrange all registrations, hotel reservations and transfers for both doctors and staff. – less

The team at this place is fantistic. Everyone is super friendly and always available to help you out. Though the IT infrusture may sometimes be confusing. There are always seniors techs to guide you on how to solve the issue. They also provide free garage parking too, which in my case was great !

My typical day consisted of being well organized and having the gift to know my customers. Having a plan of action for each and every customer to be individualized to meet their needs. Short and Long term goals are always factored in to my overall plan.

Pharma Product knowledge & marketing.

Talk about research product with Doctor & take Rx from them.

No trust, not empowerment, no involvement except if in France at top management level. Most people from Genzyme have left (>50%) after 1.5 years in frustration. Communication is poor. People are very unhappy even the long term Sanofi people. Layoffs and impending layoffs until 2016 make no job security unless you are in France. Not recommended.

Work start at 8h30, usually by a monitoring meeting. The project was highly sensitive, it touches the business of Sanofi Aventis in more than 30 countries. I worked with the project director and project manager who were very professional.

My experience in all phases of plasma production, were applied and appreciated at this company. I felt that thgey really listenend to my ideas and concerns, when the need arose.The hardest part of the job was, telling a prospective donor that they were not able to donate.

When I arrived to Paris first time it was my first international experience. The company was recovering from the merger with Aventis. Nice environment, I learned a lot, in particular from my direct manager. Unfortunately she was hired by other company and the new one was not so good. Howeever, it was a very positive experience
