A world leader in pharmaceutical manufacturing and sales
Medical Center Territory Manager (Former Employee), Salt Lake City, Utah – May 20, 2013
Pros: great salary and benefits
Cons: needed better work life balance at the time as my youngest was still small
Calling on physicians and allied health persons. Working as a team with other sales professionals. Increasing market share of all products that I was responsible for selling. Most enjoyed the face to face time with the physicians. Most difficult part of the job was the amount of paperwork that was required on the off hours.

Not like a US or Cambridge area company
Associate Director (Current Employee), Cambridge – January 24, 2013
No trust, not empowerment, no involvement except if in France at top management level. Most people from Genzyme have left (>50%) after 1.5 years in frustration. Communication is poor. People are very unhappy even the long term Sanofi people. Layoffs and impending layoffs until 2016 make no job security unless you are in France. Not recommended.

When I arrived to Paris first time it was my first international experience. The company was recovering from the merger with Aventis. Nice environment, I learned a lot, in particular from my direct manager. Unfortunately she was hired by other company and the new one was not so good. Howeever, it was a very positive experience
