Sara Lee to close Greenville County plant; 200 workers affected
Published: Friday, November 20, 2009 at 5:12 p.m. Last Modified: Friday, November 20, 2009 at 5:12 p.m. Downers Grove, Illinois-based Sara Lee Corp. said Friday it plans to close its massive Greenville County bread-making factory at 1916 Piedmont Highway by early next year in response to the loss of one of its major customers, putting about 200 people out of work.
