Saratoga Roofing & Construction – Oklahoma City
Saratoga Roofing & Construction is currently seeking a full-time DOT/Logistics Specialist.
Responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of the company’s fleet of DOT & non-DOT vehicles as well as scheduling & confirming shipments. Fleet management will include vehicle & equipment maintenance, DOT record keeping & reporting, ensuring that all company vehicles are accounted for & their whereabouts known as well as assisting the CFO in determining when vehicles/equipment should be shuffled and/or retired. Some involvement in overseeing warehouse inventory may also be required.
Requirements: A strong working knowledge of all aspects of DOT laws & reporting requirements is a must. A background in fleet management and/or logistics would be a huge plus. The ideal candidate will be extremely organized, have an analytical mind, be knowledgeable or willing to learn vehicle/equipment maintenance requirements and be able to effectively manage & schedule DOT drivers & shipments to ensure 100% compliance while maintaining the required delivery schedule in order to keep jobs running at peak efficiency.
Compensation: Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
