A typical day on the job consisted of Tier-1 support duties, assisting satID and Monics customers. We worked 8-hour shifts, 40-hour weeks. My direct supervisors and coworkers were all amazing, and the overall environment was excellent until we received the news that the NOC's purpose would be changing.
I was initially hired into a 4-month Contract-to-Hire position on 1 April. At the end of those 4 months, I was notified my contract would be extended an additional month. A week later, all of the staff were notified that SAT Corp would be changing the purpose of its NOC, and that the majority of us would be let go after 31 October.
