Save-A-Lot was a great place to work I think they should pay more for all the work that you do but it was good

A typical day at work would be to unload the food truck and stock the shelves and coolers accordingly. If their were extra time I would help on the cash register and help in the meet deportment.

A typical day at work is clocking in and then taking care of customers until close. The managers I personally felt had favorites and would have others carry peoples work if it didn't get completed

One thing about this job is you have to be fast and alert because this job is so demanding..But that's what I love about this job.

My normal days were very slow then steady got busy, very smooth day. I learned how to talk to people better. Management was very good, they made sure everything and everyone was tooking care of. Lifted a lot, moved things, worked as a cashier. Also helped with maintenance.

Atypical workday for myself is cutting and preparing all selects of meat along with providing the best customer service we have to offer,I learned alot over the past 2 years of working with savealot like how to cut all meats and how to run and use all equipment in the meat department

I get to see new people everyday, and the regulars knew you just by looking at you, I leaned alot of new things working here that i wouldn't learn anywhere else,

Customers were the main focus here. I enjoyed working for this company.

Come in before the store opens and set up the cases for the day with product. Prep much different kinds of product for each day. Call in orders needed for the following days deliveries. I check in all orders received for that day. Answer any emails from the corporate office, do price changes to items that are new or incorrect.

A great work place I worked well with the co workers,and also the costumers loved me. I learned the store very well and know how to sell deal's,come paring prices with other stores.

Go in to work clock in! Go get the carts! Then I would start off by stocking the Produce, then the Meat, then the Dairy, then the Bakery! after all that is done I would usually check to see if I needed to go get carts then, if there was palletts to put away I did that or cleaned. Finish up the day by getting carts and scrubbing the floor!

It is a easy place to learn the basics of business without seeming to much over your head. First grocery job and is going well

the inviroment is fast paced and a little bit of everything all rolled into one but it works and the people are great to work with and the community is a good one
