Elephant Group has some mammoth-sized ambitions when it comes to sales and marketing. The firm sets out to help large companies target and win new customers using a variety of channels: direct mail, media inserts, telemarketing, television, and e-commerce. It claims to generate more than 70,000 product and service sales per month for clients in a range of industries, including cable and Internet (Comcast), home security (ADT Security Services), and telecommunications (AT&T). Several of the group's divisions are authorized dealers of products by ADT, AT&T, DISH Network, Verizon, and Qwest, among others. The privately held company was founded in 1997 by president and CEO Benny Aboud.
Elephant Group significantly expanded its marketing capabilities with the 2007 launch of homes.org, a Web site and concierge call center that helps both homeowners on one end and realtors on the other. Those who are moving or buying or selling homes can access online information on how to save money during the relocation process, as well as information on city statistics, current home values, local schools, and comparison shopping. Meanwhile, realtors, utilities, and other home service providers gain exposure by placing their services on the site.
