Productive, fun, and very diverse place to be.
Assistant to Regional Vice President (Former Employee), Dallas, TX – May 9, 2013
On my previous job, I worked with high level mgmt and HR group, so I had to monitor my boss emails, organized meetings, travels, process payroll, conf calls...etc...
I have learned so much such as: managing time, team player, complete project on a timely manner, assist others on a different projects that gave me more to learn as well.

A fun place to work.
Staff Associate/Representative/Training Assistant (Former Employee), Sacramento, CA – May 7, 2013
Pros: fun activities around the office.
Cons: days when we weren't busy went by slow.
Fun place to work. Activities for holidays/occasions, welcomed team work. I was able to be on the training team and the management training program. I learned to work independently and on teams. Management was our peers who were promoted. My co-workers all worked closely together, helping each other when needed. The hardest part of my job was training – more... materials without ample time to prepare. The most enjoyable part of my job were seeing my peers in the morning and talking to my customers. – less

Operations Manager (Former Employee), Las Vegas Nv – February 26, 2013
Pros: being successful with assisting a customer connect to the internet.
Cons: nothing
SBC/AT&T is the same company.
As a Operations Manager I coached representatives on how to use the right veribage with troubleshooting a customer with their internet service, some customers are computer savy and some are not, using all their trouble shooting tools appropriately, not getting frustrated, giving the customer confidence that they can resolve – more... the customer issue. – less

Large Company, Great Management
Team Lead (Former Employee), Chicago, IL – February 25, 2013
Pros: good management
Cons: red tape
SBC is a large company. The teams were generally treated as small business units and had very good quality leaders. There was room for upward mobility if you could deal with the red tape.

Technical Specialist (Former Employee), Milwaukee, WI – February 5, 2013
Pros: great benefits and pay, opportunities for advancement and free on-the-job training/off-site classes
A great place to work. Nice people. Constant opportunities to advance within the company. Free on-the-job training and classes off-site. The most enjoyable part of job was the work. I enjoyed the clerical aspects of the job -- not too stressful, but enough to keep me busy.

Very strict work place
Toll Operator (Former Employee), Indianapolis, IN – December 17, 2012
Pros: 100% paid benefits and relaxing atmosphere.
Cons: short breaks
Very busy 24/7 call center which did not allow you to talk to anyone around you, management made it very pleasant for you because of the type of industry we worked, but what made it nice it was a casual dress code

Data Entry / Admin. - Contract Management Dept. (Former Employee), Chicago, IL – November 19, 2012
Pros: able to work overtime & nice co-workers
Cons: the strike
Working in a large, fast paced company was a great experience. It allowed me the opportunity to work in different departments on a daily basis. This gave me a nice change of scenery and a chance to network. I learned about family and business phone contracts.

Satisfactory compensation while becoming a better person.
Executive Appeals Manager (Former Employee), St. Louis, MO – November 9, 2012
Pros: good benefits, salary and occasional perks as sales commissions.
Cons: working full time.
It was demanding with very high expectations to satisfy every customer. I learned very much about people and telecommunications. The most enjoyable was working with friendly managers. I did not like having to spend so much time on the road to and from work in traffic along with spending 8 or more hours a day and 5 days a week. My job was to answer incoming – more... complaint calls to the office of the President about our company. After soothing and trying to resolve the customer issues, I was to either further the customer's help with another department or follow through myself to all departments involved to rectify the problem. It was frustrating having to resolve so many issues that could or should have been avoided. Depressing calls all day made for a rough evening at home. – less
