Housekeeping (Former Employee) –  Cottleville, MOJune 18, 2015
Safety for overnight staff was a concern as well as constant changing of buildings in bad weather. as well as a cut throat working environment with management varying different shifts. also heating and cooling were turned off at night which made it difficult in the summer and winter months.

Very political and oppressive work environment
Confidential (Former Employee) –  Clearwater, FLDecember 15, 2014
SCC has a lot of capable people working hard to make the company successful, but the executive management level fosters an oppressive and highly political form of management, where individual achievement is not recognized or encouraged.

The company has great potential with the right management team.
Pros
great people work there
Cons
toxic management practices

Client Manager (Former Employee) –  Tustin, CAApril 2, 2014
If you put in the hours your job will be secure, that is the upside...

There are no advancement opportunities, there is a lack of delegated power, and the culture compares to elementary school.

Prepare to be micromanaged and never home.
Pros
family-oriented
Cons
pay, hours, recognition

Mechanic (Former Employee) –  Carson City, NVDecember 11, 2013
SCC or Silver State Industries, is a challenging place to work in that an employee could move about into other jobs IF they had their designated duties completed I gained a lot of experience there as I was sought out as the person who knew how to repair any of the equipment. The management was very much into an employees personal growth and give every feasible opportunity for someone to try a different field.

Administrative Assistant (Former Employee) –  Somerset, KYJuly 23, 2013
This is a great place for employment with a very relaxed comfortable working environment. The people are do understanding and able to work with you as far as accomodations. I learned many different techniques and have really advanced in office equipment and technology. The job was pretty smooth, I actually loved it.
