Salaries at this company vary pretty widely for people working the same position, for example some Art Directors were paid 60k while others were paid 40k... pretty huge difference. So if you receive an offer, be sure to negotiate your salary. Also, if you do land a position here, it is probably not a good idea to go out and buy yourself a home or a car, for the past 6 years SCHAWK has been outsourcing more and more positions to India and China. If you do manage to keep your job, don't expect much of a raise... 2% every other year is what every hourly employee I spoke to received during my time there. We did also get hit with a 5% PAY CUT, so when I was let go I was actually making less than the day I started.
Aside from all that, you are pretty much expected to work overtime, as much as 80 hours a week during the busy periods (mostly Sept-Nov). The benefits were pretty good when I left. It can be a fun place to work if you stay under the radar. Layoffs are not based on pay or benefit cost or even quality of work but are strictly at the discretion of management, a few of the managers there really play favorites and if you cross them your days are numbered.
