The mid-level site manager is a bad boss. Here is what I experienced.
Bad bosses are arrogant, prideful, inflexible and always right.
Bad bosses are unprincipled, untrustworthy, misrepresent the truth and lie.
Bad bosses fail to create clear direction and clarify performance expectations.

Bad bosses are really bad communicators.
Bad bosses take credit, avoid blame and are not accountable.
Bad bosses do not plan effectively, are crisis-driven and lack vision.
Bad bosses do not develop their people or help them get ahead.
Bad bosses do not solve problems or improve processes.
Bad bosses are technically incompetent and lack talent.
Bad bosses make unwise, ill-informed and ineffective decisions.
Bad bosses are self-serving, lack focus and follow through
This is what I was looking for when I started this job.
Good bosses are humble, confident, flexible and calm
Good bosses are honest, have integrity, sense of humor, and respectful
Good bosses are active listeners, inspiring, and creative and value others
Good bosses are organized, know how to delegate, collaborative
Good bosses are committed, positive attitude, ability to inspire and intuition
Conclusions: The site was is incompetent, unethical and devoid of any leadership skills……should be removed from his post. It’s really hard to believe that upper level management has not realized this and taken immediate action to fix the systemic problem.
The results being hundreds of thousands of wasted dollars, sub-par process control, lack of information available to make informed business decisions and no opportunity for career growth. – less
