Schneider is one of the big 4 trucking companies in North America. They are the ones with the orange trailers. Their equipment is ok if you get a newer truck, but their trailers especially if you are pulling a Hyundai Translead trailer are top notch. They are so light, its like pulling nothing behind you unless you are loaded. They are mostly an OTR trucking company. I applied and did a "regional" gig with them. They told me that they would run me in an 800 mile radius around the Dallas OC but several times they routed me like an OTR driver. The recruiter lied to me about the "regional" gig. I was OTR the whole time I was there. Oh well, WHEN they get you home, they usually have a load when you are ready to go home. For me that was a Unilever load from Jefferson city MO to Wilmer tx then after that I would bobtail back to the Dallas OC, which was 7 miles away for my hometime.
Hometime route was predictable
No regional or local work, just OTR
