Productive workplace
Instructional Aide (Current Employee), Tulare CaMarch 26, 2014
Pros: i get three breaks
Cons: they are very short and i have two yard duties.
I grade papers and help students in their work. My boss is hardly here but when she is she is a great boss who enforces the rules of the workplace. I love helping the kids and enjoy all the stories they tell me. I do not like the type of salary I am paid for what I think is a lot of work that i do.

Preparing Nutritional Meals for Students
Des Moines Public School (Current Employee), Des Moines, IAMarch 21, 2014
Pros: seeing the kids enjoy a free meal
Cons: working with people that does not follow protocol at times
First to start off is that it is mandatory to be nice and clean when you enter a kitchen..secondly, wash hands before touching anything clean(aprons, pots n pans etc)..Be sure that you are aware of the menu,(once that has been established) then proceed to obtain the necessary supplies needed to prepare the dish...MANDATORY, after preparing dish, make sure that your area has been washed and santizied, then wash your hands thoroughly...The hardest part of the job is lifting and carrying heavy boxes or rolling large heavy carts.

senior conselor (Former Employee), New York, NYFebruary 27, 2014
Pros: like the staff.
Cons: tears and abuse.
Oh ,
how I loved the questions that was asked by these little wannabe adults.
the trust the have in their instructors. that is why I hurt when I hear how they have been hurt by officials that they Trusted in !!!
when it was time for all the staff to be evaluated on their performances, I got a good score. The co-workers I worked with were wonderful they were always in touch with the parents. the communications was great with the parents.
The hardest part of the job for me was seeing that the child didn't want to go home because of situations. that send me home hoping to see that child the next day.

It was rewarding to edit other student's papers. Sometimes the papers were good and other times they needed a lot more work before it was A+ material.

I liked working with the plants.
Job Shadower (Former Employee), Perry, IANovember 9, 2013
Pros: working with plants and making the customers happy.
Cons: planting all those plants in those planters.
It was pretty slow everyday. I learned how to plant. I worked with two people who owned the flower shop. I worked their with the owners and my teacher at school. The hardest part of the job was putting the tiny seeds in the planters. Working with the plants was enjoyable and making the customers happy.

Great, helpfull staff and students. We are like a family her at Keiser!
Medical Assistant (Former Employee), Jacksonville, FLNovember 2, 2013
Pros: great financial aid program
Cons: some of the younger students who aren't taking this as serious as the rest of us, i'm already 32 but i still feel that i have time to do somethung with my life and keep growing, learning, and moving up!
A typical day at school is loaded with fun, hands on learning; balanced with lots of textbook learning and studying. We have many pop-quizzes, but that keeps me on my toes! Overall, a great experience because I know that I am in one of if not the best Medical Assistant Programs in the area. It is VERY CHALLENGING and GREAT FUN AT THE SAME TIME!
