As an Application Support Analyst for STC you will be involved in:
Providing daily technical and functional support for critical public health software applications
Debugging application issues that are complex and varied in nature
Communicating with users
Interact with clients to investigate, document & resolve complex software application problems.
Conduct training as needed and provide explanations of system functionalities
Manage all software problem tickets from beginning to end by working directly with users, software developers, project managers and quality assurance analysts
Function as a subject matter expert on specific applications
Must have exceptional customer relations skills and a commitment to excellent customer service
Good analytical and troubleshooting skills and demonstrated proficiency with problem solving
Must possess clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
Must have excellent time management skills and a high attention to detail
Must work well with others as part of a team and work under tight time constraints
Ability to quickly learn new technologies and application functionalities
Familiarity with quality assurance testing procedures and tools
Ability to work from test scripts as well as the ability to complete independent, non-script-based testing
Familiarity and/or experience with software development and build processes
Knowledge of commonly-used coding concepts, practices, and procedures
Experience with Java and/or Oracle preferred
Must have the ability to travel
Must be a United States citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986
