Not a good career choice for life.
Customer Service Level III Consultant (Former Employee) –  Houston, TXJanuary 22, 2016
It is a good place to work in for people who are in-between jobs; It is definitely not a good place for a career choice, there is lots of work politics going on and the management tend to make empty promises and always find a way to get away with fulfilling their side of the bargain.
Pros
Pto, Insurance, and other work benefits.
Cons
work environment

Turn around company
marketing manager (Current Employee) –  Morrisville, NCJanuary 20, 2016
The company struggled a few years ago but recently has made an incredible move toward the positive. A lot of the past woes had to do with the challenges inherent in integrating multiple acquisitions. Now that the integration has been completed the company is in a much stronger place.
Pros
Free soda, incredibly bright and fun co-workers
Cons
moderately good benifits

Nice mid-size software company to work for

Some growing pains as a company but executive management realizes this is working to fix it. Mix of technology used some of which is older and some newer open source tools.

Free soda, Canes and Bulls tickets

Free soda is one of the only perks! Executive management needs to empower employees more.

Sciquest Work Summary
Senior Network Administrator (Former Employee) –  Newtown Square, PASeptember 9, 2013
Sciquest was a good company to work for when they were prosperous. As time got tougher the culture changed and layoffs became inevitable and the Pennsylvania office eventually closed.

Daily I worked on the Windows domain, servers, backups, Exchange environment and desktop support where needed. I was a jack of all trades.
Pros
Small close group of people that were easy to work with
Cons
Layoffs

Software Developer (Current Employee) –  Cary, NCFebruary 11, 2013
My day consists of going through the Agile/Scrum process. My co-workers are one of the smartes bunch of people I have had the privledge of working with. The application we are developing is a fairly complicated MVC4 application using NHibernate, ReSharper, Code Contracts, Entity Framework, Razor, SQL Server.

Stay Away - Revolving Door
Solutions Engineer (Former Employee) –  EdmontonDecember 29, 2012
Perks includes free soda and relative flexibility in the work schedule. Its a very title/status conscious company. Don't talk to the VPs or C level management unless directed to do so. Mgmt is not approachable.

Very high turn over as job satisfacation is low. The place is a revolving door, There is little promotion from within since they hire mostly from outside.
Good if you are desperate for a job but not a place for a career and the employees reflect that way of thinking - many people are new with little to no experience in their current roles.
Pros
lot of free food
Cons
management doesn't like newcomers

Client Delivery Implementation Consultant (Current Employee) –  Cary, NCDecember 17, 2012
SciQuest helps organizations streamline their entire source-to-settle process, and is the only company that provides the scale, expertise and transparency that your organization requires to improve your bottom line. The environment is relaxed and employees are capable of working in teams as well as independently.
