A Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing general tasks in a distribution/warehousing environment. This position will assist shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, and checking in laptop screens. This position is responsible for processing orders for shipment (picking, checking and restocking) and processing special customer orders and ensuring all outbound shipments include appropriate paperwork and ensuring that shipments are complete.
The hours of this position are from 10:15 am - 7:15 pm Monday through Thursday and from 8:15 am to 5:15 pm on Friday
Requirements and Experience
High school diploma plus minimum of one year related experience and/or training
Moving items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or other designated areas
Opening and unloading boxes and/or containers
Utilize In-house scanning system on merchandise
Preparing parcels for mailing
Sorting and placing items in place according to predetermined sequence such as product code or type
Basic computer skills
Any other related duties as may be required by supervisor
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral diagram or schedule form.
