Licensed Optician (Current Employee), Rochester – September 5, 2013
Pros: slower paced at times
Cons: difficult to get breaks sometimes
At the smaller stores you work alone usually 10am-7pm. You need to shut the store down to take a lunch, go to the bathroom etc. The hardest part of the job is not having help when you have 4 people waiting for you to help them, the phones ringing, and you really need to use the bathroom. The enjoyable part is sometimes it can be much slower paced allowing – more... you to spend more time with each customer meeting their needs. – less
Loved the people i worked and the department...Love being able to help customers.
Sales Associate (Former Employee), Anchorage, AK – March 12, 2014

Office Assistant (Former Employee), Lawton, OK – March 12, 2014
I enjoyed helping guests who came into the restaurant. I welcomed and seated guests. I liked the idea that I could move up overtime and also get a pay raise throughout time. The management however did not care about the employees. All they cared about was sales and would often times try to work their employers to death. I liked the other employes I – more... was able to meet and the free drinks we got on duty. – less

You will be required to badger customers into signing up for Sears card resulting in customers getting angry. Receipts seem like they are three feet long with coupons most people will never use, annoying the customers. Some of the co-workers are decent people, others are terrible. Same goes for management. Don't work for Sears unless there is nothing – more... else available. – less
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee), Lake Jackson, TX – March 10, 2014
Cons: not enough coverage from managers
An ordinary day would consist of many customers requiring help and being able to multitask between them but still providing the best customer service experience. I got along great with my co-workers by using good communication skills to be a team. The hardest part of my job was not having the trained experience and lack of coverage. I enjoyed interacting – more... with people to provide them not only with good assistance but a lifetime relationship with my customers. – less
