World Group, a regional commercial property management and brokerage company, is seeking a Controller. Responsibilities include: direct and coordinate company financial planning and budgeting; monitor and analyze monthly operation results against budget; oversee daily operations of the finance department; interface with outside CPA firms; ad hoc reporting; review and post all G/L entries; supervise staff and manage commercial banking functions.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent business experience (CPA Preferred); knowledge of GAAP; ability to analyze financial data; prepare financial reports, statements and projections; have excellent professional written and verbal communication skills; and the willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekend and evening hours as needed.
