Very Dark and Depressing place to be
collections (Former Employee) –  utahOctober 22, 2016
This is a very dark and evil place to work. There is a sinister feel as is some have spiritually compromised themselves to advance. If you allow yourself to become a part of this culture, it will not be easy to look at yourself in the mirror.

More like sweatshop
Collector (Current Employee) –  Jacksonville, FLApril 20, 2016
This company only cares about the head honchos , they forget the agents. Agents have to learn new things everyday with no breather. You feel like it's prison ,with someone constantly walking down your aisle, it's too much micro management .

Cons
Micro management, sweat shop.

Great pay, but not patient managment.
Collections Representative (Former Employee) –  West Valley City, UTMarch 4, 2016
Working in a mortgage enviorment is tough, and requires to be repeated and be patient. The training they offer, does not offer this.

I started this job and wanted to walk out every day of training class.
The training in the first step in joining a company, shouldnt they be the "cheerleaders" of the company then?
Not for SPS! They were rude, impatient, and immature.
Multiple times they would not go over things again when requested.
Learning how the mortgage industry works is tough enough and having such unapproachable people being the guide thru it was horrible.

I liked the job months after training ended.
They are super strict about their attendance (they should but they should also be a bit more flexible with emergencies with our children at home).

I would recommend this job to someone who literally just wants to come to work, and not be social what so ever and learns quickly.

the management is not very helpful, and misleading.
I would reach out to employees that were there for years before the management after a point.
Pros
hour lunch, good pay, holidays off, sundays always off
Cons
managment, saturday schedules, procedures on calls.

Relationship Manager (Former Employee) –  Salt Lake City, UtahJuly 22, 2015
Interlink Financial taught me so much in financing and business growth that I will always be grateful. To bad the management staff at the time was full of gossip and drama and talking behind employees back.

Loss Mitigation Rep/ SPOC/ Relationship Manager (Current Employee) –  Jacksonville, FLJuly 16, 2015
Fast pace environment. must be self motivated. The hardest part of the job is trouble shooting issue.,Often there is no manager with the indefinite knowledge to provide an accurate answer. All of the reports are inconsistent and no one can ever explain why. Beyond the reports and help from management there is a lot of satisfaction that comes along with the day to day responsibilities. Helping homeowners thru the most difficult time of their life and being the one individual that can help them with most of it can be very satisfying once the task has been completed.

Needs more direction
Mortgage Processor (Former Employee) –  Murray, UTJuly 15, 2015
After being employed for 3 years and involuntarily terminated, I learned 3 things about this employer which I think any pros

1. The pay is great. The start you typically get is amazing, but don't expect great raises. The incentives are nice.

2. Management is poor. Don't expect great formal training in your job and they will expect scrutinized results if something goes wrong for mistakes.

3. There is not any real career path for advancement unless you know someone.
Pros
Great bonuses
Cons
Poor direction, inner circle managment, depersonalized understanding at the human level

This is pretty much your basic call center, the job is for mortgage collections. The starting pay is about $16 hr and your bonus will be based on how much you collect and how many accounts you bring current as well as other factors.
