Sr. Loan Processor (Former Employee) – Fort Worth, TX – August 23, 2016
Unlike so many other companies I was afforded the ability to have my own office with a view in a beautiful surrounding. However the company isn't equipped for operations, it's more MLO driven and they give them free reign. Management is very much in disarray regarding who handles what and no one gives you the same answer. They offer no training as to how their company wants things done, you will get 2 days training, a manual, without any go-to person should you have any questions. I feel that once they get the kinks out it has the potential of being a great company, it just wasn't a great fit for me.
beautiful office, decent pay, cafeteria in building
Former manager (Former Employee) – Austin, Texas – October 16, 2015
Sente Mortgage is a company created by and currently staffed by a fantastic group of caring, professional people. Each person truly cares about one another. Along with being a growing business, comes growing pains. The culture is great, as long as you participate in the positive changes and roll with the punches. The bulk of the negative reviews here are written by people who obviously failed at latching on to the growth, change, culture and pain of trying to make something good into something great!
If you are a seasoned mortgage banker or just starting out, this is the place to go. They will train you and mentor you as much as you are willing to receive and humble yourself to learn. They are 100% ethical and fair mortgage company.
The pay sounds great but expect to work long, long hours. Loan officers do as they please with support staff picking up the slack. No appreciation and lots of criticism. Management out of touch with what is going on in the office. My worst job ever.
Loan Processor/Doc Prep (Current Employee) – Plano, TX – October 22, 2012
Upcoming small mortgage company in the Plano area that is thrieving in growth potential. Friendly atmosphere with in-house staff to help with questions and concerns if needed. With this being a small company you are responsible for the setup, processing and doc prep for closings from daily. For any additional training needed with operations or the system you must travel to the corporate office located in Austin, Tx or operations manager will schedule time to travel to your branch. This is required for all new hires. Which is a downside. Overall good company to work for.
