Flood Damage Technician, Manassas, VA - January 30, 2013
Upon being hired with ServPro I was told I would be paid more than $10 an hour because I had experience in removing soiled materials, that never happened. Also I have went weeks where there has been no work, which when I was hired I was told this job would be a good career where I could make good money and advance. My supervisor get's paid by commission, where as his crew are hourly employees. We found out he passes the small jobs aside which would give his crew more hours and only takes the big jobs so he can make more profit for himself. The most enjoyable part of this job was interacting with my co-workers until they quit the company. The Hardest part is going so long without any work.
