A good stepping stone job
Team Leader (Current Employee) –  Sandy Springs, GAFebruary 15, 2017
This is a stressful job with a high turn-over rate. Very high call volume. Co-workers make this job manageable. Not many benefits other than flexible scheduling since the call center runs 2 hours a day.
Pros
Great coworkers
Cons
short breaks, expensive insurance, stressful

Customer Service Support (Current Employee) –  Sandy Springs, GADecember 1, 2016
The management at this location is not the most professional. The management does no adhere to any company policies. Working hard and being a great employee does not guarantee you to be on track for promotion. Those are determined by how well they like you socially.
Pros
It is hard to get terminated.
Cons
The management is so bad they do not let go bad employees.

Call Center/worked from for 5 years
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) –  Atlanta, GAOctober 5, 2016
Sertec is a normal 24 hour call center environment where I was employed for almost fifteen years. I met and communed with a lot of wonderful people. A typical day at work was taking calls, servicing the customer professionally, two breaks and thirty minute lunch. The call center changed a lot after a lot of employees were allowed to work remotely.
Pros
Very flexible

Supervisor (Former Employee) –  Atlanta, GASeptember 29, 2016
Sertec Corporation is extremely fast paced and very challenging. But is an extremely rewarding company. A typical work day consisted of speaking with clients about their insurance needs and I typically would have to manage staff of over 225 people to ensure that they are remaining productive and organized.

This is an alright company to work for. The company is very family friendly, however, schedule changes are almost impossible to accomplish and procedures change almost on a daily basis.
Pros
Family friendly
Cons
Short breaks, short lunches

This job is not very flexible with scheduling and can be hectic at times. It is an entry-level job with decent pay and the benefits are not that great.
