Draincables Direct is seeking a Territory Sales Representative for the Western US Market. This position will work in direct support of our facility located in Visalia, California. The Territory Sales Rep is responsible for all aspects of sales and new business development within the assigned sales territory. The TSR is accountable to achieve growth and profitability objectives for all customers within the assigned territory. A successful candidate will quickly and efficiently establish and maintain relationships with customers within the territory including Professional Sewer & Drain Cleaners, Sewer Cleaning Equipment Distributors, Municipalities, Hospitals, Colleges and other prospects seeking professional drain cleaning equipment. Product knowledge, application, and the ability to develop industry market opportunities are critical requirements which will dictate the success of this role. The opportunity exists to work from a home office when not traveling.

- Develops and maintains client and industry relationships to monitor our industries and identify new opportunities
- Meets established sales call targets with established budgets
- Travel as required based on business needs
- Makes sales visits to current customers and prospects
Plan visit and plot trips to customers and prospects
Distributes professional marketing material in the field
Distributes samples of products and follows up with to conclusion
- Quotes pricing
- Reports progress of individual sales efforts – Daily, Weekly & Monthly Reporting
- Captures and reports marketing research data relating to customers’ needs to management
- Acquires news, information, and pricing on market competition & report information clearly
- Participates in trade show and other industry events
- Researches and recommend potential new products
- Executes Sales and Marketing Plan Initiatives
- Meets or exceed budget
- Promote new product lines & special offers
- Increase sales through cross selling & up-selling
- Have complete knowledge of company product line (brand awareness)
- Update and maintain customer file – customer profile and contacts
- All other duties as assigned

Additional Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Resolve customer issues and see them through to resolution

Desired Skills and Experience
- Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Sales or business related field
- Minimum 5 years experience in professional sales position or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of Sewer & Drain Cleaning Industry and Products
- Success-driven and self-starter
- Proactively makes decisions and develops solutions
- Ambitious and self-motivated
- Ability to multi-task, detail-oriented, well organized
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, senior management, inter-departmental personnel, shop personnel and outside vendors/contractors.
- Solid PC skills including proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in high-pressure, fast-paced environment
- Works effectively with internal and external partners
- Proactively develops customer relationships by listening and responding to customer wants and
- Willingness to travel independently
- Ability to work on several initiatives concurrently
- Have ability to set priorities and maintain discipline to carry them out
