Health Information Management Tech II (Former Employee), Round Rock, TXJuly 1, 2014
Pros: traveling
Typical day would be every fast pace. Never a dull moment. I learned a how lot in medical records. That where I decided to stay in the field. Co-workers where the BOOM... I love working with them. The hard thing at work was not enough time to do everything. I miss my coworker...

Intern (Former Employee), Round Rock, TXAugust 9, 2013
I was an intern at this hospital for 5 weeks, and everyone in the Health Information Management (HIM) department were welcoming. What I learned in class, I was able to get hands on experience here.

In-Patient Pharmacy Technician (Former Employee), Round Rock, TXApril 24, 2013
Pros: the experience in a hospital setting
Cons: long hours, no breaks, crazy busy
A typical day includes running as soon as you came into the rx dept. 1) sorting pt medication envelopes that were delivered from Seton Main by room and floor number.
2) have all 4 floors delivered In an hour
3) return to rx department and start delivering all new orders
4) this continued until you completed your shift.

Management - did not take action – more... on things they should have, but made big deals out of petty situations.

Co-workers- some where great, others would talk in their native language around you and you had no clue what they were talking about until you heard your name.

Hardest part of the job--- delivering in an hour, and patients being moved around the hospital and their medications did not move with them which equals a big mess.

most enjoyable--- meeting new people. – less
