Management staff did not communicate well with staff.
In-Patient Pharmacy Technician (Former Employee) – Round Rock, TX – April 24, 2013
A typical day includes running as soon as you came into the rx dept. 1) sorting pt medication envelopes that were delivered from Seton Main by room and floor number.
2) have all 4 floors delivered In an hour
3) return to rx department and start delivering all new orders
4) this continued until you completed your shift.
Management - did not take action on things they should have, but made big deals out of petty situations.
Co-workers- some where great, others would talk in their native language around you and you had no clue what they were talking about until you heard your name.
Hardest part of the job--- delivering in an hour, and patients being moved around the hospital and their medications did not move with them which equals a big mess.
most enjoyable--- meeting new people.
the experience in a hospital setting
long hours, no breaks, crazy busy
