Since 1969, Settlement Housing Fund has developed 56 projects with over 8,700 apartments -- rentals, cooperatives, and two-family houses -- that are home to more than 25,000 low and middle income residents, including formerly homeless people. Whenever possible, we incorporate commercial developments and community programs for children, young adults and families that provide opportunities for educational success and upward mobility. All our work involves sustainable rental housing and truly affordable home ownership opportunities.
Through affiliates, we currently own 31 buildings with 1,750 apartments. Our newest development, Semiperm, is providing formerly homeless single parent families with supportive housing that prepares them for independent living. The completed buildings in our portfolio are well maintained by management agents and our professional staff, and are economically successful because of careful budgeting. – less–ZoomInfo
