• SGF Global was established in early 1992 to facilitate the provision of high caliber engineering and technical personnel to the Latin American Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Mining, Engineering, Pharmaceutical, Information & Technology and Telecommunications Industries.
The Group was initially established in the mid 1970's as a manufacturer of fittings supporting the Oil Industry. The equipment manufactured met the highest international standards and specifications and the organization blossomed as an international trading conglomerate.
Then after, with the dedicated effort of the group, the firm made a transition within a very short period of time into a full service Recruitment Consultancy targeting the Energy sector. The primary focus was geared towards Engineering, Construction, Contract Administration, Procurement, etc.
As a result of its impressive growth within the Latin American marketplace and increasing demand for its services on a global scale, SGF Global decided to aggressively target the US/North American market. In 1997, SGF Global established its first American office in Houston Texas, a core area in the Oil & Gas/Energy sector worldwide. By 2001, a new Division was created, SGF US, in order to continue expanding the presence within the United States. The affiliate, SGF US is registered as a minority owned business through the HMBC (Houston Minority Business Council) and the FRMBC (Florida Regional Minority Business Council). In late 2003 the company relocated the Headquarter function to Hallandale, Florida as part of an effort to link the Global operation. Within the offices, we have established a state of the art technology center to better support the financial and operational elements of the organization with global multi-currency treasury management, automated and on-line billing and payroll solutions, strategic global planning and control and integrated marketing-communication along with customer service activities.
Over the past 7 years, SGF Global/US has continued to grow and expand, while becoming a reliable partner in providing unsurpassed project professional resources, with extensive experience in the Energy and Non-Energy sectors including: Oil, Gas, Petrochemical, Power Generation, Power Delivery, Nuclear, Telecom, Banking, Engineering, Construction, as well as the Information and Technology industries. Currently, SGF Global has offices in North America, South America, Europe, Africa and Asia in an effort to expand in areas where our customers require support.
