This position is located in downtown, Philadelphia, PA.

8 hour shift: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Required Skills and Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Two to three years’ current administrative experience, healthcare setting preferred
Advanced computer skills
Advanced skills on MS (Excel, Word/Mail Merge)
Strong meeting management experience (scheduling, agenda and material preparation, taking minutes, etc.)

The Department Secretary main responsibility is a support to the Quality Department and the Medical Director of Continuum of Care. The responsibilities include composing correspondence, spreadsheets and documents for special projects. Schedules meetings, prepares agenda and attachments, attends and takes minutes for meetings; manages several special large projects requiring mail merge skills; manages and orders supplies. The Department Secretary is involved in special projects with the Medical Director and manages his schedule and calender.

The Quality Department is comprised of 2 RNs (Manager and QI Coordinator), 2 LVN’s, 2 MA’s, 3 Credentialing Specialists, 1 Quality Management Specialists, 1 Compliance Coordinator, and 1 Department Secretary. Functions within the department include Quality Management, Credentialing, Compliance and Risk Management. This position reports to the QI Manager; this position works collaboratively with staff, Data Analyst, physicians and SRS leadership to organize and communicate responsibilities as listed above.
