Located in one of the most posh towns of New Jersey, the gas station was given as a gift to my boss when he turned 25. My boss was not only my boss but he was my friend who hired me to work as a manager for his gas station.
Being a young guy who knew a work place should be diversified, my boss chose his team that consisted of people that were not limited being US citizens. Being in management was fun, but it was also the hardest part of the job as some decisions were made whether workers liked it or not. Telling people they weren't doing a good job, was not what I was looking forward to being a manager of a gas station. And no matter whoever makes a mistake, at the end being the manager of the gas station it was my responsibility.
Most enjoyable part of this job were people. Working in a gas station, its a business environment in which we never ran out of customers, and it was the only one of the two gas stations within the 5 mile radius, so we were always busy. I came across many people, most of them that were nice but some of them had no sense of respect.
