In a typical day of work I would process income tax returns, balance and reconcile corporate accounts, file, and key in W2-s, 1099's, and other tax documents. I definitely learned alot given that I had not ever had office experience. I learned how to operate Quickbooks and Excel. I also mastered how to use a copy and fax machine. My boss was great. He understood that I did not have much experience in an office position and he answered all of my questions and remained patient. My one co worker was also wonderful. She was very helpful also. The hardest part of the job was simply learning how everything was to work and how my boss liked for things to be done. But at the same time, it was also the most enjoyable. It kept me busy and engaged. And I like to stay busy.
