Business Manager, WPAFB, Ohio (Dayton) - June 11, 2015
I am responsible for many tasks so my days are usually very busy; typically not lacking for things to do. My job provides a wide variety of tasks/projects so I have learned how to prioritize. I've also learned how to jump from one task to another in a moment's notice without letting it jeopardize task currently at hand. I work on many different levels so I interact with top level management, government management/personnel, engineers, technicians and vendors. I am very fortunate as I work with a great team of people who are easy to communicate with, supportive and always willing to help if needed. Everyone works well together which makes for a great work environment. The most difficult part of my job is working with software systems that aren't always the most effective or efficient. The uncertainty of knowing whether one's job is going to continue once a contract period is over is a difficult factor. However, my direct manager provides great support.
