A typical day at work involves selling server space and troubleshooting broken websites that are on the company's servers. The pay is good for most positions. The environment however is the worst I've ever been in. It is far too laid back. And there is no infrastructure: new rules and policies are introduced verbally on a daily basis. During shift change meetings the new rules and policies are announced and usually effective immediately... most of which are not given to the employees in writing. This makes things very difficult for the employees, especially the technicians.
There is very little job security with this company. There is a lot to learn with minimal training and high expectations of productivity. During a 7 month span, about 11 out of the 40 employees who work there were terminated for obscure reasons, all of which had worked there for a year or less.
