I would be given a assignment with about 10-13 patients. I was responsible for helping the patients with activities for daily living such as toiling needs, bathing, oral care, vital signs, EKG's, blood draws, finger sticks, and changing a occupied,and unoccupied bed.I learned how to draw blood. I work in Surgical Oncology at Sinai. I absolutely love my department. I work with great people. It has different challenges everyday and I am always learning something new. The best part about Sinai is that I work with the patients and build a patient/staff relationship with them. Although it can be difficult because of the type of field I am in but – more... it's worth it. – less

when i worked here at sinai i really enjoyed myself, the atmosphere was soo soothin and warm like home again. The food was excellent, gifts shops, the $10 dollar store its just soo much for you to spend your money on. I really enjoyed myself

Nice to place work, from president down to the lowest employee everyone is treated with respect. This company really cares about their patients and the people that work for them.

I learned a whole lot of skills while working for this company. Co-workers are great.

Worked for Sinai Hospital for almost 13 years good times ered not so good times. Enjoyed working with the patients. Learned how to put orders in the system with ICD-9 codes. The hard part of the job was seeing how sick people were. Everything was rushed to have the patient registered and checked in.

my most appreciated experience while working at sinai hospital was working hands on with the patients. Everyday I looked forward to visitig the childrens hospital & cancer patients, seeing themm happy always made my day.

Working in a diverse place is very enlightening and it taught me alot about people. Some of the benefits are the promotion of healthy living, the hours and the diversity. The management isn't really supportive the way that they make themselves seem in front of others. However there isn't a hard part of my job because I love what I do.

A typical day at work for me is I get there at something to 7am I found what patients and it they are a fingerstick.then I do my vitals for the 8am and my fingerstick. Next I check the bathlist and so what patients needs to get bathe. A typical work day was just sitting in my both waiting on custemers. I learned to have a lot of patience for the work place. My co- workers was all okay i can get a long with anyone with a good personality. The hardest part of the job was leaving when sinia ended the contract with standard parking miss my old custumers and co-workers. Sinai was wonderful. They worked with my schedule and even allowed for me to pick up extra days.

I enjoyed my work at Sinai Hospital. I had the pleasure to work in the Educational Resources Center and Medical Records. The staff was nice and cordial to work with and hope to get to work there again.
