Extremely hostile work environment! It starts from the top at Corp. They abuse and scream at managers at the station levels, and then in turn those managers abuse the station level employees. I had to sit on those weekly manager meetings and the good ole boys club thinks by degrading and screaming at you is the way to get things done! Total abusive treatment from top down! This company operates on fear! Every manager is in fear of losing their job, so they in turn micromanage and make it miserable to be around..run..away!!

Upper corporate is totally unorganized and it takes much longer than it should to get things done. This results in unnecessary equipment failures. Stealing equipment from one station and giving it to another station thus cancelling out necessary equipment redundancy to keep the original station on the air. Getting rid of essential mid level employees to make their profit look better in order to purchase other station group. Yes, As their promotional video states:"Sinclair is here, and there and there", you can always tell a Sinclair station by the lack of quality and poor ratings.

They promise the best but deliver nothing but disappointment and misdirection. Upper level management promised to give WNWO the tools and staff to compete and coerced some excellent talent into the station with hollow promises only to live up to Sinclairs bottom feeder reputation by tossing out nearly the entire staff with not even a thank you and outsourced the local news out of South Bend, IN!

Hostile work environment. They lay off those with high salaries to keep their exeuctives rich and increase the workload on current employees so that you're outworking your paycheck. This is not a good team to join
