About Sinclair Community College

Sinclair Community College is operated by the Montgomery County Community College District and is part of the state system, which is coordinated by the Ohio Board of Regents. Trustees bring to the Board a wide range of experience from the business, industrial, and educational communities of the Dayton area. The nine-member Board for the college approves – more... plans and internal policy decisions recommended by the President, administrative officers, faculty, and staff. Six trustees are appointed by the Montgomery County Commissioners and three by the Governor of Ohio. Members of the Board serve overlapping five-year terms and may be reappointed.

The membership reflects a cross-section of the constituencies of the Dayton community.
