About Singing River Hospital System

Singing River Hospital provides both inpatient and outpatient pediatric services with individual and team participation from physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy. Ages range from birth (brachial plexus injuries, failure to thrive, suck/swallow problems, etc) to age 18 with a multitude of diagnoses addressed. Some of our more common – more... diagnoses include cerebral palsy, autism/PDD, Sensory Integration Dysfunction, Developmental Delay, Feeding Dysfunction, Speech/Language Disorders, Attention Deficit Disorder, Orthopedic problems/injuries, Strokes and Mental Retardation. Special training has been received in Sensory Integration Dysfunction, Pediatric NDT (Neurodevelopmental Techniques) and Early Intervention. We provide a nurturing, caring and loving atmosphere to encourage growth and understanding in assisting children to reach their full potential. We also offer a full range of screening and evaluation tools, included but not limited to the Peabody, HELP (Hawaii Early Learning Program), Sensory Profile, Denver II, Bruininks-Osertetsky Test of Motor Proficiency, Bayley Scales of Infant Development 2nd Edition, and Evaluation of Children's Handwriting.
